I just took my 2nd attempt at the semester exam for college algebra. This was my final class at Ashworth. When I openen the exam the very first question did not have a mathmatical problem to answer. I was informed by the person on the phone that even if it didnt have a question I was suuposed to still answer it and I still failed it because I failed more than 3 questions. I had also written a email to the school requesting to retake the exam. According to the student handbook I can be dismissed from the school because of this. My tutor that I was using at home essentially left me hanging to figure this out on my own. It is hard getting an answer from anyone at the school due to the sheer volume of students. I have been in school off and on since 1994. Having dyslexia makes math 5x harder to do when you have to redo everything. Will I be given the opportunity to re take College Algebra. I am surprised I had to take this course again since I took it in the ground 5 years ago and passed it with a B. What other recourse do I have at my disposal to resolve this issue?
