I was having quite a few issues with Spanish II, and I called the school to see if I could switch it. They ended up throwing some fees at me that I couldn't afford. However, I did choose this as an elective. I don't know if it'll be any different for you. I would call the school directly and explain this to them. It may actually get you some answers.
