Hello, My name is Alexis and I’m currently enrolled in English Composition II. I have the Writing Today 1st Edition book by Donald Pharr-McGraw Hill, for my course. My concern is, I’ve stumbled across some questions on my Lesson 5 English exam that pertain to some particular essays. These essays include works by Barbara Ehrenreich, (“The Cult of Busyness”) Natalie Angier, (“Is War Our Biological Destiny?”), Gore Vidal, (“Drugs”) and Richard Rhodes, (“Hollow Claims About Fantasy Violence.”) According to the index, it states that those particular essays are located on pages 283-287 and 299. However, my textbook starts and stops between pages 282- 299 (So all the pages between 284-295 are missing; There is a whole gap between those pages and then it starts back up on page 296) My question is, How am I supposed to complete my exams with missing page numbers and essay sections? Does that mean that I will receive a new textbook in the mail? What if I am quizzed on those particular sections in the future on the semester exams? Can someone please help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you kindly.
P.S. Also, I noticed that my textbook starts at page 211 and immediately jumps to page 230. (Page 211 is on the left side of the page and page 230 is on the right side of the page (As the next page). All pages between 212 and 229 are missing as well.
