It could have been the tab containing the main portal page. I've usually had two tabs open....the quiz and a tab containing facebook....but I've never run into a flashing screen that accuses me of cheating before. Are you in the high school program or a degree program? Next time close out the tab for the main portal and keep ONLY the tab containing the quiz. Make sure you're ONLY accessing the quiz on ONE tab. That should solve you're problem.
