I am in the principles of finance class and have followed the correct reading assignments for lessons 1 and 2. However, the tests are asking questions that are not related to the reading whatsoever. I saved Test 2 and backed out of it because all of the questions were not related to the reading which was chapters 3, 4 and 5 for lesson 2. I looked up the key terms from the questions and it appears they are related to chapter 14 in the book.
The book was back ordered for a while (Financial Management, Core concepts by Raymond Brooks, second edition) and is a new edition (copyright 2013) so I'm wondering if the tests are outdated now for this book and were written for a different book with different chapters. I cannot complete the test 2 because it is not relevant to the lesson 2 chapters and the same was for test 1, althought I looked up the information in different chapters in the book to complete that test. I am concerned all of the remaining tests are not going to be compatible with the assigned readings.
Can someone please advise what to do because I will fail this class if I continue to take the tests that are not based on what the reading was. Also, I will need a new test for chapter 2 because it is going to run out of time and I cannot take it since it is not relevant to the assigned reading.
